SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed with regards to the high variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries status sassa to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue produced for intervention encounters a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing of all prospects and raise access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
